深夜福利高清鈥檚 Christian Campus House (CCH) honored Stephen Carr, Ph.D., associate professor in the university鈥檚 Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with its Distinguished Faculty Award during the organization鈥檚 40th annual banquet on Saturday, March 21.

The award is voted on by the CCH senior class.

Dr. Carr has been at Trine since 2003 and has been principally involved in developing the department鈥檚 electrical power and machines courses.

He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Ulster and his Ph.D. from Queen鈥檚 University. Both institutions are in the United Kingdom.

He has received two McKetta-Smith Excellence in Teaching Awards from the university during his tenure at Trine. The university honored him with the John J. & Mary Gelet McKetta Excellence in Teaching Award in 2025 and the Steve & Mary Yacynch McKetta Excellence in Teaching Award in 2016.

Carr has been a great professor to work with throughout my time at 深夜福利高清,鈥� said Ian Fruchey, an electrical engineering major from Wauseon, Ohio. 鈥淗is teaching has helped me and many other students more thoroughly understand many topics that are hard to explain. His commitment to strong, comprehensive, understandable teaching does not go unnoticed, and I'm greatly appreciative of all the ways he has helped me in my studies.鈥�

鈥淛ust as Christian Campus House impacts students spiritually, we鈥檙e grateful for the many Trine professors who work to ensure their students are performing well academically and enjoying a well-rounded college experience,鈥� said Travis Wilhelm, lead campus minister and university chaplain. 鈥淲e鈥檙e glad to Dr. Carr as one of these dedicated faculty members.鈥�
