The 深夜福利高清 Wind Ensemble will present its spring concert, titled "That's Not Baroque," beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

The concert is free and open to the public.

鈥淭hat鈥檚 Not Baroque鈥� features selections and musical titles that evoke the Baroque period from 1600-1750 but may not actually be Baroque.

鈥淢usic from the Baroque era was characterized by grandeur, drama and ornamentation with titles such as Prelude, Passacaglia and Toccata,鈥� said Brad Jopek, Ph.D., director of Trine鈥檚 music program. 鈥淚n addition, contemporary musical styles and orchestrations from the 20th and 21st Centuries will be presented with titles such as Elegy, Meditation and Finale containing Baroque musical structures such as fugues, ostinatos and chorales. We also visit Cajun country with 鈥楤ayou Breakdown鈥� and will feature performances by student chamber ensembles.鈥�

• 鈥淢editation鈥� by Dwayne S. Milburn
• 鈥淔inale鈥� from Symphony No. 3 鈥淥rgan鈥� by Camille Saint-Sa毛ns, arranged by James Curnow

Wind ensemble members are:

Flute/Piccolo: Olivia Geringer-Spagnola, an exercise science major from Beecher, Illinois; and Donna Henson-Bohlen, a design engineering technology major from Sturgis, Michigan.

Oboe: Ellie Essenberg, an exercise science major from Middleville, Michigan.

Clarinet: Emily Howard, a biology major from Wolcottville, Indiana; Hannah Knost, a biomedical engineering major from Anderson, Indiana; Andrea Mendoza, a biomedical engineering major from LaGrange, Indiana; Haylee Smith, a chemical engineering major from Wauseon, Ohio; and Emma Wilke, an elementary education major from Mandeville, Louisiana.

Alto Saxophone: Michael Blessing, a mechanical engineering major from Delta, Ohio; Dean Campbell, a chemical engineering major from Batesville, Indiana; Erika Foor, a forensic science major from Lowell, Indiana; Brody Fox, a civil engineering major from Rushville, Indiana; and Ashley Salas, a mechatronics and robotics engineering major from Goshen, Indiana.

Baritone Saxophone: Danita Hillman, a chemical engineering major from Fort Washington, Maryland.

Trumpet: Ryan Hoak, a civil engineering major from Warsaw, Indiana; Treyton Sederstrom, an actuarial science major from Cedar Lake, Indiana; and George Stanley, a mechanical engineering major from North Vernon, Indiana.

Horn: Eryn Pikus, a mechanical engineering major from Carmel, Indiana; and community member Jessica Jopek.

Trombone: Evan Cole, a mechanical engineering major from Adrian, Michigan; Caleb Henson-Bohlen, a mechanical engineering major from Sturgis, Michigan; Garrett Mangold, a chemical engineering major from Buchanan, Michigan; Shannon Ridley, a mechanical engineering major from Warsaw, Indiana; John Rubley, an extended reality major from Reading, Michigan; and Ryan Sederstrom, an electrical engineering major from Cedar Lake, Indiana.
